Off The Grid
Going off the grid - it’s not just for unabombers anymore.
As energy costs continue to rise and the oceans along with them, it becomes much more important for us all to consider ways in which we can:
- get more from the oil, coal and uranium we consume
- consume less of it
- regain control of the costs
- take responsibility for our own (environment, energy, communities)
That’s the goal alright — and we believe the way to get there is to make people aware of the ways in which we can all start to go “off the grid”.
Obviously, we’re not all about to unplug from the civic water supply and our electirc and gas utilities, but imagine - a few simple steps here and there and you too can lower your cost, improve the environment and lessen our dependance on foreign energy merchants.
